We chose Spirit Fire Retreat Center to host our events for many reasons. We researched many locations in the process of choosing this site. We wanted a site where:

We own the entire site for the whole event

The site owners "get" the work we are doing and where the staff respects that work

Everything is provided because many of our attendees will be traveling from a distance and bringing bedding with them just isn't an option

A space that is well-maintained and held sacred year-round where the energy and the amenities match up to give a truly positive experience

It has amazing energy having been built on land that is full of naturally occurring quartz crystals.

The space is held sacred year-round.

The beds are comfortable.

There are plenty of bathrooms - and they are always clean.

The food is fantastic.

The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The space is cozy without being cramped.
We are certain that you will enjoy the site as much as we have in prior events.
The Food - Oh the Food!
Food is included in your registration. Did I mention that we have a private chef? We do. And she makes the most lovely meals. Each one a new delight. Because if you're going to be in sacred space shouldn't you treat your body as a sacred temple while you're there? Yes, our chef can certainly accommodate special dietary needs. Simply let us know what your needs are when you fill out your registration form. We do need two weeks' notice for any special needs so that the chef can plan that into her menu.
Accommodations
- Room Assignments - There are several beds per room and we will assign people to rooms. So if you'd like to room with a friend (or not room with your friend) please let us know. We try to accommodate everyone whenever possible. There are a few bunk beds, so if you have physical challenges that would keep you from getting into a top bunk, please let us know that too.
- Bedding is provided as are towels. All you need bring is your clothing, toiletries, and anything else you may need for your event.
- Fragrance-free zone - We know that many of our attendees are highly sensitive to scents, so we ask the retreat center to make certain that all linens are washed in a fragrance-free detergent. Please help us maintain that state by not bringing or wearing scents at the events.
- Cell Phone Coverage - There is cell phone service at the event site, but it is spotty and dependent upon your carrier. Please plan on not being available by phone while you are at the event. An emergency number will be provided to you when you register for your program.

Spirit Fire Retreat Center is located in Leyden, MA. The closest airport is Bradley International in Hartford, CT about an hour's drive from the event site.
