How High Is The Heat?
When we think of the image of the cauldron different concepts come to mind. There is the archetypal image of the three fates standing over the bubbling cauldron calling moments into existence. There is the feeling of sitting in the soup of our emotions allowing them to bubble away around us as we lean in to experience them. There is the image of the alchemist’s cauldron where lead is turned to gold and where catalysts create change and agents are changed by the change they create. There is the image of the home fire hearth with the cauldron full of bubbling stew waiting to feed the hungry children. There is always something happening within the cauldron - whether it is soft and simmering or a hard rolling boil - there is movement. The only difference between the two is how high you turn the heat.
